He is currently a United States senator representing Vermont.
For those unfamiliar with him, he self defines himself politically as a democratic socialist.He is the only person I can think of who speaks up for, and defends, the poor, tthe poor working class, and working Americans.
He is also a truth teller.
He's the guy who called the Republican deficit reduction program "morally grotesque".
He does that kind of thing.
